ANDREAS SCHÖNFELD pure emotion! • MinitrainS is orphaned. Andreas Schönfeld, the founder of the German MinitrainS brand, died on 2nd February. He had delighted the world of narrow gauge scale trains by resurrecting the MinitrainS brand and bringing it up to date.

A night in the Peloponnese • Developing a joint project is a great approach. It means no longer being alone when planning, sharing a human adventure, getting together with mates and widening one's horizons. This is what our night in the Peloponnese is all about!

Diakopto-Kalavryta A GREEK RAILWAY WITH A FRENCH FLAVOUR! • When closely examined, the rack railway that connects Diakopto to Kalavryta, in the heart of the Greek Peloponnese, is not unlike a French local light railway. Voie Libre tells you why.

ROMAN ABT

THE DK SETS • Seven participants in the adventure meant building seven sets. It was no longer a matter of building a single set “by hand”, but almost an artisan production.

My father's mine • By the time you read these lines, my father will be celebrating his hundredth birthday. He must be the oldest reader of Loco-Revue, as his first subscription dates back to 1938. And he has been a faithful reader of Voie Libre right from Issue n°1. I rummaged through his cartons and dug up an attractive layout plan, more than 80 years old!

THE RAILCARS OF the Economiques des Charentes • Charente and Charente-Maritime were well served by railways, thanks to the networks of the Chemins de Fer de l'Etat, the Chemins de Fer Départementaux and the Chemins de Fer Economiques des Charentes. A dense system operated with a variety of rolling stock. Let's take a closer look at the EC railcars, which, at the time, were both original and modern!

THE «QUATRE CHEMINS» COLLISION • The story, told to Eric Fresné by Monsieur Philippe, of an unfortunate encounter at crack of dawn with a Chemins de Fer du Morbihan electric railcar. An identical machine to that described by Vincent Lepais in the article.

Gherkins! An immoral story • This is not an exclamation, nor an insult from the flowery vocabulary of a famous comic strip captain, although this incredible story could lead one to think so! Actually, the gherkins in question are the raw material of a 1 scale layout running on 16.5mm gauge track.

Transfers MADE THEM MYSELF! • A 60cm gauge wagon decorated with animal heads is quite uncommon… When he decided to build it, Éric Fresné had to find a solution to reproduce these famous heads. He opted for made-to-measure decals.

In your workshop MOTOR-TRAILER • Hello, my first name is Alain. My workshop is full of bits and bobs I collect. Today's project is a short consist: plastic sheet, card and paper are all you need.

The great CAROUAL CROSSING • This is a highly unusual railway! And what is more, it is not really narrow gauge! True, but it is a surprising topic, an unusual one and a completely scratchbuilt project. Hold on tight, we are about to cross on the Breton Daddy Long...
