A 2004 recipient of the American Bar Association's ABA Medal for distinguished service to the cause of American jurisprudence, Father Drinan is a priest, scholar, lawyer, activist, and ethicist. He has served as dean of Boston College Law School, and has been a professor at Georgetown University Law Center since 1981. A politician as well, he was a U.S. Representative from Massachusetts for five terms, serving on several congressional committees, including as chair of the House Judiciary Committee's Criminal Justice Subcommittee. The title of this lecture is, "Can God and Caesar Co-Exist?"
