Fresh Popcorn • Whether for a cozy home cinema evening or simply as a delicious snack - fresh popcorn is popular with young and old.

Ultra-short distance projectors instead of TVs? • They are called ultra-short distance projectors, or more recently laser TVs. They can project a huge image even if they are only a few centimeters away from the screen. And because it makes sense, most manufacturers equip their projectors for the extremely short distance with a decent sound system and corresponding loudspeakers. This not only looks homely compact, but in most cases, it also sounds considerably better than most flat screens.

BenQ V6050 – Ultra Short Distance at its Best • Projectors for ultra-short distance setups are enjoying enormous popularity these days. Like hardly any other type of projector, they claim the place of the TV in the living room. The BenQ V6050 also stands inconspicuously like a soundbar on the sideboard directly in front of the screen and effortlessly projects a gigantic image that measures two meters diagonally and more. A long-lasting laser serves as the light source, which has also earned this equipment category the marketing name „Laser TV“.

Projector with Android TV • There are at least two reasons to consider the Epson EH-LS300 as a replacement for a TV. The Epson is designed as an ultra-short distance device and can therefore be placed close to the screen on the sideboard, and it is fully streaming capable thanks to the Android interface and integrated Wi-Fi. Conveniently, the built-in speakers can also be used as a soundbar.

OLED Evolution • LG has further developed its in-house OLED displays for its 2021 top models. The latest generation is called „OLED evo.“ Together with the 4th generation α9 AI processor, it promises even better image quality.

QLED TV with Mini LED Technology • In its new LED flagship, TCL combines Quantum Dots with a backlight of mini LEDs.

Three subwoofers of the 1000 Pro and 3000 series from subwoofer specialist SVS • The subwoofers of the American specialist SVS are known for bringing abysmally deep bass to the cinema at an acceptable price. After testing the sophisticated woofers of the 3000 and 2000 series, SVS now delivers supplies in the affordable range. In addition, the living room-friendly 3000 Micro is a new concept in the lineup.
