The Beach at Port Stephens • Noelene captures the marvellous atmosphere in this colourful painting. Several photos are used for reference- taken when I was painting “plein air” in Port Stephens. I use Matisse Structure paints which give me great coverage and texture on this canvas.

Why I Started To Paint • I have now been painting as a professional artist for the past nine years.

Wet Morning in Bathurst • This watercolour painting was inspired by a photo I took one morning while I was leaving Bathurst. It had been raining earlier but the rain had stopped and the sun was just breaking through the clouds. I love painting wet weather scenes as it opens up some exciting design possibilities.

It’s Never Too Late to Start • More than four busy decades of her life had passed before this clever lady began to pursue her art interests seriously for the first time. Clearly, she was a very motivated student.

Terrigal from The Haven • A home on the Central Coast of New South Wales provides this artist with many sunny seascape subjects for some of her beautiful paintings in acrylics.
