EXPOSURE

ARTHUR THÉBAULT • Getting eyes on these shots of young ripper Arthur Thébault, you’ll no doubt be as impressed as we were by the 14-year-old’s commitment to going big. Already very familiar with the competitive scene, we’ve no doubt Arthur’s star is in the ascendant…

PEAK PERFORMANCE • Given that the name of the project to establish an eFoil altitude record in the high Himalayas was dubbed ‘Icare’ (Icarus), it’s clear that Aurélien Delahaye and his team had very much considered the possibility that they really might end up too close to the sun (or, more appropriately, too high up a freezing cold mountain) to get an eFoil to work. THE GOOD STUFF PRODUCTS WE LOVE

Isle OF PLENTY • Planning a photoshoot in the far reaches of Scotland’s Hebridean island chain was unquestionably a ballsy move on the part of Cabrinha’s Marketing Manager, James Boulding. Open to the full spectrum of wild, North Atlantic weather, the odds that an autumn tempest would move in and ruin everything were certainly high. But the pay-off if it didn’t meant it was worth the gamble…

DISNEY LAND • Dominik Röckl and Steffi Wahl introduce photographer Frithjof Blaasch to a little corner of Sardinia that not only offers up world-class wingfoil conditions, but also has a little sprinkle of Disney magic in the area too…

HYPERNATURE • Invited on a team trip into the remote wilderness of Patagonia, North riders Fabian Muhmenthaler and Chucho Nonnot found a world very different to the one they’re used to back in Europe…

WAVES FOR LIFE • Riding big Nazaré became the challenge and succor that Matt Davies required, as he battled his way out of mental health issues brought about by substance abuse. But even getting to that point was almost as challenging as tackling the planet’s most notorious big wave…

MERCURY RISING • More often known for her adventures within the Arctic Circle, Kari Schibevaag relishes her time spent wingfoiling in warmer climes. But the allure of her cold comforts is never too far away…

BEYOND THE REEF • Accomplished wingfoiler and windsurfer Maria Andres is both a lover of the natural world and has adventure running through her veins. On the hunt for a new project, she quickly found that Madagascar ticked all those boxes and then some… So, having reached out to the perfect travel partner, it was off to the Emerald Sea.

KEEP PADDLING • If you’re finding breaking into downwinding a challenge, then fear not. You are most certainly not alone, and, as Philip Muller lays bare here, perseverance and evolution are your manifest mantra…

BACKED BY THE BEST, TRUSTED FOR YEARS!

CORE • CORE have a reputation for meticulously engineered products and an eye for detail, but they’re also a patient bunch, having kept their powder dry as the foil and wing world underwent explosive growth. Since their first wing and foil launch in 2022, they are now building out their line up further with the benefit of hindsight and learning from the strengths and pitfalls of others. Time to find out a bit more about their roots, and about where they are taking things now…

THE FOIL SLIDE • As of going to print, there are few contemporary foil maneuvers out there that...
