Quilty Treasures

The Patchwork Angel • If you go down to the woods today you might just bump into some teddy bears!

International Quilt Festival • At the 2022 International Quilt Festival, there was a prize pool of around $US50,000. This is the world’s largest quilting event, as well as the longest running, having begun in 1975. Here we share a selection of winning quilts and we especially congratulate two Australian quilters whose quilts won awards. Sue de Vanny of Victoria took out the Master Award for Innovative Artistry with her quilt Born to be Wild, and Karen Hogan of Tasmania won third in the Machine Quilting category with her quilt, Trip to America.
