VICTORIA COACH STATION 90th ANNIVERSARY • 2022 marked the 90th anniversary of Victoria Coach station in London, reports Mike Neale. A series of static display and bus running events featuring preserved buses and coaches took place during the year, in March, June, July and September. I attended the Bus Running Day on 24 July, catching 1954 AEC RT 4779 (OLD 566) from Aldwych down to Victoria, one of the fleet of RT and Routemaster double-deckers operating a free service every 10-15 minutes on Route 11 during the day, much to the surprise of some of the tourists, alongside the regular modern TfL Route 11 buses.

DORSET CHRISTMAS STEAM PARADES

MODEL NEWS • Mike Neale takes his monthly look at recently released diecast and resin models of road locos, ambulances, vans, milk floats, tractors, and trucks in 1/32, 1/43 and 1/76 scale.
